I hope my question fits correctly in this forum...
I`m developing a web site, that works with Mysql, like a lot of web sites that offer this interaction (user registration, document searching.....)
The site will offer some file searching, according different criteria, date, subject... an I will update/insert this file information, the one that would be stored in the web host DB .
ANd my question is, what is the best way to update if, from my PC to the host server I hired?
I can figure out different strategies, for example, do a restricted web application that allows me to update this information directly through a web browser, or insert the information locally, at home, and later load the data in the host server....
Which solution is better according what criteria??
